Sally Turner is an American politician serving as a member of the Illinois Senate representing the 44th district. Appointed in January 2021 to succeed Bill Brady, she brings extensive experience in local government, having previously served as the Logan County Clerk from 1994 to 2018. Before her legislative career, she worked as a juvenile probation officer and a paralegal, and she also operated a consulting business assisting local government entities with budgetary and tax matters. Turner holds a Bachelor of Arts in legal studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and a Master of Science in organizational leadership from Lincoln Christian University.
