Salma Mansouri

Salma Mansouri is an Algerian diplomat and politician who has served as the Secretary of State for African Affairs since November 2024. She began her career at the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs before holding various international roles, including positions with the United Nations in New York and Bamako, where she focused on human rights, transitional justice, and security operations. Prior to her current ministerial appointment, she served as the Ambassador of Algeria to Burkina Faso. She holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Jean Moulin University and is a graduate of the National School of Administration.
