Abdelmadjid Tebboune is an Algerian politician who has served as the President of Algeria since December 2019. A career civil servant, he previously held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, and briefly served as Prime Minister in 2017. Tebboune began his administrative career as a wali (governor) in various provinces during the 1980s. Elected as an independent candidate, he has focused his presidency on constitutional reform and economic management, though his tenure has been marked by the challenges of the Hirak protest movement and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ahmed Attaf is an Algerian diplomat and politician currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, a position he assumed in March 2023. Nadir Larbaoui is an Algerian diplomat, lawyer, and former politician who served as the Prime Minister of Algeria from November 2023 to August 2025. Born in 1971 in Tébessa, he holds advanced degrees in industrial engineering and economics, as well as a doctorate in physical chemistry of materials from Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba. Before entering government, he held leadership roles in several national industrial complexes and served as the chairman of the board for Algerian Qatari Steel. Appointed Minister of Industry in November 2024, he was named Prime Minister in August 2025 and confirmed in September 2025, where he continues to oversee industrial and pharmaceutical production portfolios.
