Sifi Ghrieb
Profile
Sifi Ghrieb is an Algerian statesman and high-ranking official currently serving as the Prime Minister of Algeria. Born in 1971 in Tébessa, he holds advanced degrees in industrial engineering and economics, as well as a doctorate in physical chemistry of materials from Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba. Before entering government, he held leadership roles in several national industrial complexes and served as the chairman of the board for Algerian Qatari Steel. Appointed Minister of Industry in November 2024, he was named Prime Minister in August 2025 and confirmed in September 2025, where he continues to oversee industrial and pharmaceutical production portfolios.
