Salomón Jara Cruz

Salomón Jara Cruz is a Mexican politician currently serving as the Governor of Oaxaca, a position he assumed on December 1, 2022. A chemical engineer by training, he previously served multiple terms in the Mexican Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, representing the state of Oaxaca. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with the Party of the Democratic Revolution and later the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), under which he secured his gubernatorial victory with over 60% of the vote.
