Sam-seok Seo is a South Korean politician currently serving as a three-term member of the National Assembly, representing the Yeongam-gun, Muan-gun, and Sinan-gun constituency. Before his national legislative career, he served as the Governor of Muan County for three consecutive terms from 2002 to 2011. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles within the Democratic Party of Korea, including Supreme Council member and chair of the Special Committee on Agriculture, Food, Rural Affairs, Oceans and Fisheries. He is known for his extensive focus on agricultural and maritime policy, having chaired the National Assembly's Special Committee on Climate Crisis and the Budget and Accounts Committee.
