Sanae Abdi

Sanae Abdi is a German-Moroccan politician and lawyer serving as a Member of the Bundestag for the Cologne I constituency since 2021. Born in Morocco and raised in Germany, she is the first person of Moroccan descent to serve in the German parliament. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the Parliamentary Left movement, she focuses on development policy and sustainable supply chains. Abdi has served on the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development and participated in high-level coalition negotiations.
