Sander Loones

Sander Loones is a Belgian politician currently serving as a member of the Flemish Parliament. A member of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), he has held several significant roles throughout his career, including serving as a Member of the European Parliament from 2014 to 2018, where he acted as Vice Chair of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs. In late 2018, he briefly served as the Belgian Minister of Defence. His political career is characterized by his involvement in both European and national legislative processes.
