Sangram Arun Jagtap

Sangram Arun Jagtap is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, representing the Ahmednagar City Assembly Constituency. A member of the Nationalist Congress Party, he previously served as the Mayor of Ahmednagar. His political career has been marked by significant controversy, including a suspension from the assembly in 2017 for budget-related protests and his 2018 arrest in connection with a criminal investigation involving the murder of two political rivals. He is the son-in-law of fellow politician Shivaji Bhanudas Kardile.
