Sansei Dote is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Etajima, Hiroshima Prefecture. Born in Kirikushi, Etajima, he graduated from Kinki University's Faculty of Engineering. Dote spent his career in local government, joining the Etajima town office in 1977 and later serving as the city's General Affairs Division Manager, General Affairs Department Director, and Deputy Mayor. He was elected as Mayor in November 2024, succeeding Shusaku Akitake, and has pledged to implement policies closely aligned with the daily lives of local residents.
