Santosh Kumar Gangwar

Santosh Kumar Gangwar is an Indian politician currently serving as the Governor of Jharkhand since 2024. A long-time leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he represented the Bareilly constituency in the Lok Sabha for nearly three decades. Throughout his extensive parliamentary career, he held several ministerial portfolios in the Government of India, including Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Finance, and Textiles. Before entering national politics, he was involved in the establishment of the Urban Cooperative Bank in Bareilly.
