Santu Pan is an Indian politician and former journalist currently serving as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly representing the Tarakeswar constituency. Born in 1997 in Goghat, Hooghly district, he holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Burdwan. Before entering politics, he worked as a journalist, gaining national attention in 2024 following his arrest while reporting on protests in Sandeshkhali. He was elected to the state assembly in 2026 as a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party.
