Sara Crowley

Sara Crowley is a Welsh politician who has served as a Member of the Senedd for the Pontypridd Cynon Merthyr constituency since May 2026. Before entering politics, she worked as a teacher and in the field of diabetes care. Crowley became involved in politics through the Welsh government's Equal Power Equal Voice mentoring program and joined Plaid Cymru at the age of 36. She resides in the Cynon Valley with her partner and children, and is a vocal advocate for health awareness, having personally navigated significant medical challenges including type 1 diabetes.
