Sarah Champion is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Rotherham since 2012. A prominent advocate for child protection and safeguarding, she has led numerous cross-party campaigns to address child sexual exploitation and trafficking, including successful legislative amendments to the Sexual Offences Act. Since 2020, she has served as the Chair of the International Development Select Committee. Before entering politics, she worked as a charity executive and arts centre manager.
