Sarah Clark is an American politician serving as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 136th district, which encompasses parts of Rochester and the suburbs of Irondequoit and Brighton. A member of the Democratic Party, she assumed office in November 2020. Prior to her legislative career, Clark worked in public service, including as an intern for Rochester Mayor Bill Johnson and as a deputy state director for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. She resides in the Maplewood neighborhood of Rochester with her family.
