Sarah Silva

Sarah Silva is an American politician currently serving as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives for the 53rd district. Born in Vado and raised in the Mesilla Valley, she holds a degree from the University of San Francisco. Prior to her legislative career, Silva worked as a community organizer and served on the leadership team of the Native Land Institute, where she focused on empowering Indigenous communities. She was selected by the Democratic Party to represent her district and continues to advocate for local community interests in the state legislature.
