松野哲

Satoru Matsuno is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Iwamizawa in Hokkaido, a position he has held since 2012. Born in Mikasa, Hokkaido, he graduated from Hokkaido University's Faculty of Law in 1981 and subsequently spent his career working for the Iwamizawa municipal government, holding various administrative roles including department head and office director. After retiring from the city administration, he was elected mayor in 2012 and has since been re-elected four times. His administration has focused on local industrial promotion, employment creation, and public safety initiatives.
