佐藤啓

Kei Sato is a Japanese politician and former bureaucrat currently serving as a member of the House of Councillors, representing the Nara Prefecture constituency. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, where he focused on regional revitalization and local finance. First elected to the House of Councillors in 2016, he has held various government positions, including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Finance. Sato is known for his focus on social security reform, regional economic development, and cybersecurity policy. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and has been a prominent advocate for policies supporting women's health and the revitalization of local infrastructure.
