Masashi Sato is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Kanagawa 16th district. Born in Osaki, Miyagi Prefecture, he graduated from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Law. Prior to his political career, he worked in international finance at Barclays Securities and Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities. Motivated by the belief that a strong economy is essential for a strong nation, he entered politics and was elected to the Diet in February 2026.
