Savia Orphanidou

Savia Orphanidou is a Cypriot politician and economist who has served as a member of the House of Representatives since 2019, representing the Nicosia constituency. A member of the Democratic Rally (DISY), she was elected vice president of the party in 2023. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has focused on social policy, including legislation to improve accessibility for vulnerable groups, strengthen animal welfare protections, and extend maternity leave benefits. She currently serves as vice chair of the House Standing Committee on Health and holds memberships in several other parliamentary committees.
