Scott Armstrong

Scott Armstrong is a Canadian politician and educator currently serving as a member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly for Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley. He previously served as a federal Member of Parliament for the Conservative Party from 2009 to 2015, during which time he held roles including Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Employment and Social Development. Following his provincial election in 2024, he was appointed to the Executive Council of Nova Scotia, serving as Minister of Justice and Minister responsible for the Office of Equity and Anti-Racism. Throughout his career, Armstrong has balanced his political duties with a long-standing background in school administration and education.
