Scott Cyr is a Canadian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the electoral district of Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul. First elected in 2015 representing the Wildrose Party, he previously served as a Shadow Minister and Deputy Whip. During his initial term, he successfully sponsored the Protecting Victims of Non-Consensual Distribution of Intimate Images Act, which was passed unanimously in 2017. After a brief hiatus from provincial politics, he returned to the legislature in 2023 as a member of the United Conservative Party. Before his political career, he worked as an accountant for 14 years.
