Tony Ince

Robert Anthony "Tony" Ince is a Canadian politician who currently serves as a member of the Senate of Canada, having been appointed in March 2025. Prior to his federal appointment, he served as a member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly for the electoral district of Cole Harbour from 2013 to 2025, representing the Nova Scotia Liberal Party. During his provincial career, he held several cabinet positions, including Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage and Minister of African Nova Scotian Affairs. Before entering politics, Ince worked as a counsellor with the Department of Community Services and as a project coordinator for the Black Educators Association.
