Seiji Okuyama is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Yamagata Prefectural Assembly. Born in Yamagata City in 1959, he graduated from Kokushikan University. Before his election to the prefectural assembly in 2003, he worked for 17 years as a secretary to a prefectural assembly member. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including serving as the 66th Vice-Chairman of the Yamagata Prefectural Assembly and chairing several standing and special committees. He focuses on regional economic development, infrastructure improvement, and addressing population decline to create a prosperous future for Yamagata.
