Semra Çağlar Gökalp is a Turkish politician and human rights activist currently serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, representing the province of Bitlis. Born in 1988, she previously worked in the foreign relations office of the Van Municipality before her dismissal in 2017. A member of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), she is a vocal advocate for gender equality, the implementation of co-leadership models in politics, and the protection of women's and prisoners' rights.
