Serge Papin is a French business executive and politician serving as Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade, Crafts, Tourism and Purchasing Power in Sébastien Lecornu's second government. Best known as the former chairman and CEO of the cooperative retail group Système U from 2005 to 2018, he has been a prominent advocate for sustainable business practices and ecological transitions in retail. In addition to his leadership in the distribution sector and his 2024 appointment as non-executive chairman of Auchan France, he has authored several books and contributed to public policy reports on agricultural producer remuneration.
