Sergio Fernando Moro is a Brazilian politician, jurist, and former federal judge who serves as a member of the Federal Senate representing Paraná, having been elected in 2022. He gained national and international prominence as one of the lead judges in Operation Car Wash, a massive anti-corruption investigation in Brazil. He also served as the Minister of Justice and Public Security under President Jair Bolsonaro from 2019 to 2020 before resigning over disputes regarding executive interference in law enforcement.
