Швец, Сергей Фёдорович

Serhiy Shvets was a Ukrainian television journalist, political commentator, and politician who served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 9th convocation. Before his political career, he had a long-standing career in media, working as a special correspondent and presenter for major Ukrainian television channels such as 1+1, ICTV, and STB. Elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019 representing the 214th district in Kyiv, he served as the secretary of the Committee on Freedom of Speech. He passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 48.
