Seung-gyu Kang is a South Korean politician and former journalist currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly representing Hongseong-gun and Yesan-gun. A graduate of Korea University, he began his career as a reporter for the Hankook Ilbo and Kyunghyang Shinmun before transitioning into public administration and politics. He previously served as a member of the 18th National Assembly, as a senior secretary for civil society in the Presidential Office, and as the head of the Korea Baseball Association. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles within the People Power Party and has been active in regional development and economic policy initiatives.
