Shuji Yamada is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Gose City in Nara Prefecture. Born in 1982, he previously worked in the construction and care industries and served as the president of the Gose Junior Chamber. Yamada began his political career as a member of the Gose City Council, where he served three consecutive terms and held the position of vice-chairman. In October 2024, he was elected mayor unopposed with the support of the Liberal Democratic Party.
