Shalom Danino is an Israeli politician and businessman who currently serves as a member of the Knesset for the Likud party. Born in Ofakim in 1956 to a family of Moroccan immigrants, he served in the Israel Air Force for ten years before pursuing a career in the private sector, where he became an owner of a nursing home and a real estate company. He entered the Knesset following the 2022 elections, having been placed on the Likud list as a candidate representing the Negev region. He is the brother of Yitzhak Danino, the mayor of Ofakim.
