Moshe Abutbul

Moshe Abutbul is an Israeli politician who has served as a member of the Knesset since 2019. Before his national parliamentary career, he was a long-serving local official, acting as the mayor of Beit Shemesh from 2008 to 2018 and serving on the city council for over two decades. A member of the ultra-Orthodox Shas party, Abutbul previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Throughout his political career, he has been a prominent advocate for the preservation of the Sabbath in Israel and has served on various parliamentary committees, including the State Control Committee.
