Shane Stringer is an American politician and law enforcement official serving as a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives for the 102nd district, a position he has held since 2018. In addition to his legislative duties, he serves as the chief of police in Creola, Alabama. Previously, Stringer worked as the chief of police in Satsuma and as a captain in the Mobile County Sheriff's Office, from which he was dismissed in 2021 following his sponsorship of constitutional carry legislation. He remains a vocal advocate for gun rights in the state legislature.
