Shaun Collier

Shaun Collier is a Canadian politician who has served as the 10th mayor of Ajax, Ontario, since 2018. A former member of the Canadian Armed Forces and an accountant, he began his political career on the Ajax Town Council in 2003 before being elected to the Durham Regional Council in 2010. As mayor, Collier also serves on the Durham Regional Council and chairs the Durham Regional Police Services Board. His political platform has focused on economic development and urban planning, and he has been a vocal advocate for the preservation of the Greenbelt.
