Shekhar Govindrao Nikam is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, representing the Chiplun constituency. He was first elected to the assembly in 2019 and successfully secured re-election in 2024. A member of the Nationalist Congress Party, he is the son of Govindrao Nikam, a former Member of Parliament who represented the Ratnagiri Lok Sabha constituency from 1989 to 1996. Nikam continues to be an active representative for his region in the state legislature.
