Shekhar Koirala

Shekhar Koirala is a Nepalese politician and physician who currently serves as a member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal, representing the Morang 6 constituency. A prominent member of the Koirala political family, he is a central working committee member of the Nepali Congress. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career as a physician and served as the vice chancellor of the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. He remains a key figure within his party, having contested for the party chairmanship during the 14th general convention.
