越川信一

Shinichi Koshikawa is a Japanese politician currently serving his fourth term as the Mayor of Choshi in Chiba Prefecture. Born in Choshi, he graduated from the Keio University Faculty of Economics and worked in the private sector, including at a newspaper company, before entering politics. He served two terms as a member of the Choshi City Council starting in 2007. Koshikawa was first elected mayor in 2013 and has since been re-elected in 2017, 2021, and 2025. Throughout his career, he has been active in local community organizations, including the Junior Chamber International and various school PTA associations.
