Shin Tsuchida is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Tokyo 13th district. A graduate of Kyoto University, he previously worked at Recruit and served as a secretary to House of Councillors President Akiko Santo. Elected in 2021, he became the first member of the Diet born in the Heisei era. Tsuchida has held several government roles, including Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Digital Affairs and Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Finance. He is known for his advocacy of structural reform and digital deregulation, and he supports constitutional amendment, including the formal recognition of the Self-Defense Forces.
