山口伸樹

Shinju Yamaguchi is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kasama City in Ibaraki Prefecture, a position he has held since 2006. Born in 1958, he graduated from Kokushikan University before entering public service. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he served four consecutive terms as a member of the Ibaraki Prefectural Assembly, where he was affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party. Throughout his administration, he has focused on municipal management and local welfare, including implementing salary reductions for city officials during the COVID-19 pandemic to secure fiscal resources for public health measures.
