Shrikant Sharma

Shrikant Sharma is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the 18th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Mathura constituency. A prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he previously served as the Minister of Energy in the Yogi Adityanath cabinet. During his tenure as Energy Minister, he was credited with significant infrastructure improvements in electricity transmission and distribution, including the implementation of the 1912 electricity helpline to enhance consumer connectivity. He has maintained a strong electoral presence in Mathura, securing re-election in 2022 with a significant majority.
