Sietske Poepjes

Sietske Poepjes is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Olst-Wijhe since February 2024. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), she previously held a long tenure as a provincial deputy in Friesland from 2011 to 2023, where her portfolio included infrastructure, environment, education, and culture. Before entering provincial politics, she worked as a legal advisor and policy officer in municipal government.
