Silvia Breher

Silvia Breher is a German politician and lawyer who has served as a Member of the Bundestag for the Cloppenburg – Vechta constituency since 2017. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), she has held the position of Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture since 2025 and has served as a deputy chair of the CDU since 2019. Before entering national politics, she worked as a self-employed lawyer and led a local farmers' union. Breher is known for her moderate stance within the party, having supported same-sex marriage and advocated for the humanitarian reception of refugee children.
