Silvia Gualtieri

Silvia Gualtieri is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Mississauga East—Cooksville. A member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, she gained political prominence by defeating Ontario Liberal Party leader Bonnie Crombie in the 2025 provincial election. Prior to her election to the provincial legislature, Gualtieri worked in the insurance industry and unsuccessfully contested a seat as a municipal councillor in the 2022 Mississauga election. She is the sister of MPP Rudy Cuzzetto and the mother-in-law of Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.
