Silvio Schembri is a Maltese politician and academic currently serving as the Minister for the Economy, Technology and Strategic Projects. He holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Malta and previously worked in a private bank and as a supervisor economist within the Central Bank of Malta. First elected to Parliament in the 2013 Maltese general election representing the sixth district, he has since held various ministerial and parliamentary secretary portfolios focusing on financial services, the digital economy, innovation, and economic regeneration.
