Simon Case is a British civil servant and life peer who currently serves as a member of the House of Lords. Born in 1978, he had a distinguished career in the UK Civil Service, notably serving as Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Home Civil Service from 2020 to 2024. Throughout his career, he held several high-profile roles, including Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister and Director General for the UK–EU Partnership. In 2025, he was created Baron Case and joined the House of Lords as a crossbencher.
