Sinéad McLaughlin is a Northern Irish politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Foyle since 2020. Before entering the Assembly, she served as a councillor for the Derry City and Strabane District Council and worked as the Chief Executive of the Derry Chamber of Commerce. A prominent advocate against Brexit, she currently focuses on economic development, job creation, and expanding university access in Derry. Within the Assembly, she has held roles as the SDLP's Spokesperson for the Economy and COVID-19 recovery, and has served as Chair of the Executive Office Committee.
