İsmail Akgül

İsmail Akgül is a Turkish politician currently serving as an independent Member of the Grand National Assembly representing Bolu. Born in 1986, he previously worked as a correctional officer in Bolu and served as the Bolu provincial head of the Ülkü Ocakları. He was elected to the 28th Parliament of Turkey as a candidate for the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) before his resignation from the party in November 2024. During his parliamentary tenure, he has served as a member of the Interior Commission.
