손배찬

Son Bae-chan is a South Korean politician currently serving as the 10th Mayor of Paju. Born in 1962 in Paju, he previously served as a member of the Paju City Council, where he held the position of Council Chair from 2020 to 2022. Throughout his legislative career, he focused on regional balanced development, resident-centered policies, and the strengthening of local autonomy. Elected as mayor in 2026, he has prioritized infrastructure projects, including the extension of the Seoul Subway Line 3 to Unjeong. He is also the author of the book 'The Unwavering Path', which details his political philosophy and experiences in local governance.
