Stavros Anthony

Stavros Anthony is an American politician and retired law enforcement officer currently serving as the 37th Lieutenant Governor of Nevada, a position he has held since 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as a member of the Las Vegas City Council from 2009 to 2022, including time as Mayor Pro Tem. Anthony holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and spent his earlier career in law enforcement. He is of Greek descent and is active in the Greek Orthodox community.
