Σταύρος Καλαφάτης

Stavros Kalafatis is a Greek politician currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Development, responsible for Research and Innovation, a position he assumed in March 2025. A long-standing member of the New Democracy party, he has been elected to the Hellenic Parliament multiple times since 2003. Throughout his career, he has held various government roles, including Deputy Minister of Macedonia and Thrace and Alternate Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change. He holds degrees in law and international relations, and previously worked as a lawyer and communications consultant.
